DHA Awards TGTG MHS GENESIS Wave One IT Support Contract

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) awards The Green Technology Group a multi year contract to provide IT specialist support for the first wave roll out of the Military Health System (MHS) GENESIS Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation. TGTG will provide IT specialists to support the implemention of MHS GENESIS EHR at Travis Air Force Base (AFB), Mt. Home AFB in Idaho, Army Health Clinic (AHC) Presidio in Monterey , and Navy Health Clinic (NHC) Lemoore. The EHR system is supported by a Cerner platform and will help to improve interoperability between providers at Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) and other DoD, VA, and community care providers. The new system includes a patient portal to allow DoD patients to view their health information online, securely message providers, access test results, and request prescription refills online.

"TGTG is excited to support the DoD and DHA in their first wave roll out of MHS GENESIS EHR. This transition from storing patient health data on local servers to storing data in the cloud will ensure providers at any military care facility can access medical records and deliver faster care to our servicemen and women." said Darryl Green, CEO of TGTG.
